Hi! My name is Antonia and I come from a little country stranded on a way between two continents:) Currently, I live in the city of Sofia, where I study English and American Studies at the University of Sofia. After three or four years I'll apply to a university in the UK, where I'd like to study Wildlife Biology together with my younger sister Maya (Wittyen here). I've been deeply fascinated by the Nature and all the forms it takes ever since I was a little kid and me and my sis used to watch every wildlife documentary aired on TV, pretending we're there and watching all around us through the binoculars. My travelling genes probably come from my Dad who used to be a sailor and who's visited a lot of places around the globe. I remember looking at the long received postcards from distant places dreaming I can one day go there as well. And I did go! At least at my Geography classes when there were times when I was just sitting and staring at the World Map barely listening to what the teacher was droning on... being far away from the classroom back then. Well, my dreams finally led me to the point where I began exploring first the hills surrouding the village I lived in, then the mountains and towns of Bulgaria, then the neighbor-country of Turkey. But my heart and my feet long for a more distant adventure somewhere else where even the stars look different and the air tastes like a cocktail I've never before tried. Would you, please, try to ignore the sentiments - they're a great part of me for good for good or bad. My personal idea of happiness stands on three pillars - health, love and adventure - all three not very easy to get or maintain. I've always liked better to give than to take presents, to do a favor than to ask for one. If I had the chance I would dedicate my life to helping people, animals, forests, Nature as a whole in every way I could. I can make compromises, I'm not an extremist (though some people consider my vegetarianism an extreme manifestation of a protest, and yes, I do protest but I believe the right decisions are taken when both sides are satisfied). I am also a philologist so words are never enough for me and before I become too boring I'll put an end to my monologue with this appeal - no matter what you do, do it with love, passion and positive thinking because absolutely everything is possible if we really believe in it!
