Hey, my name is Manuel and I'm a student. I like sports(cycling, ju-jutsu, football, climbing, hiking), music (bass&guitar), photography and filming. I like to laugh and I prefer to act on the bright side of life. But I also recognize injustice and imparity and try to do my best against it. My core subjects in school are physics and art. Before I had Latin, English and French as core subjects. I also like to travel and this is also where I enjoy to take pictures of unknown places. In 2007 I visited India in a student exchange program. I really enjoyed this one month trip experiencing this new culture and lifestyle. Overall I am very curious about asian cultures. Moreover I am interested in history and politics. For The European Parliament Elections we organized a platform discussion with representatives from each of the main parties in Germany: CDU, SPD, FDP, Die Grünen, Die Linke. And for the German Parliament Elections we had a ballot in our school in which every student of all ages could give their vote; just to compare the results of the teenagers with those of the whole country. Sometimes you can learn more from your grandparents than you've ever imagined. I live in a rural area of Germany with fields and forests on the one side and SME companies on the other side. Some of them and also farmers pursue sustainable development and nature protection. Life science is the future for our energy ressources. We have to do intesive research and need even more innovation to promote renewable energies and other possibilities to save, produce and accumulate energy. For this I think Bionics is a very cool science. Actually pretty dumb that humans have needed so long to understand several processes in nature. I also like to play the guitar, the bass guitar and I like to sing. Composing and songwriting also. Again I made a fantasy movie with my friends which include several hiking and nature scenes. Filming this meant also to experience the nature and places around us.
