Today's decision was perhaps the toughest in the PANGAEA program's history. The batch of 18 candidates that spent the last ten days with us in Château-d'Oex was jam-packed with qualified, bright, dynamic, fit, creative and ambitious individuals -- we wanted to take them all. But there's only room for 10 on that boat headed to the Amazon.

Congratulations to ALL of our Elite Eighteen on an excellent performance. There's a reason we chose them from hundreds of applications. We know each one is bound for big things in life and we only hope they remember the little people! Here are the ten young explorers going to Brazil with Mike Horn
