To study abroad

Today, I got a paper. It was written that we can study abroad during 1 year. As I learn English and German I could go to London or Munich. We must have a good average (more than 12 and I have 16 so it's ok). So I would like to ask you, if you have done something like that, your impressions to help me to take a decision. If you are not French but you have done something like that in an other country and from an other country it's good too.

Thanks!!!!

Hey I just want to add something here! :D
Having the chance to go somewhere doesn't just mean that you only go there and study.. It means that your whole life here turns upsite down and you're living in a completely different world. A world that may be harmful and violent (which I don't believe in :)) or it could be incredible and wonderful! It could give you the opportunities you've never had the place where you live, It could open your eyes for things you have never even imagined of.. it's the whole magic of adventure.. Even if it's hard.. that's what makes people strong right.. I'm going to get to the Uk and study Wildlife Biology after I graduate here.. I just want to say that I'm not even accepted yet here. That means I have to do it 5 years from now, or If I'm not accepted I'll go for it earlier. The fault is that it is incredibly expensive for a person like me, but that's what it takes to pursue my dream.. I'm going to be both working and studying and I pray for survival :D.. I know it could be treacherous but as long as I don't go, I'll never know.. YOU'VE GOT TO TAKE CHANCES!.. there is no other way to be happy!

Hey, see an opportunity take it never say No, even if you think that its not your direction or liking.....In most cases it leads to other things and opens your perceptive and horizons to a new level with even more open opportunities.

To find what you Love one has to go through sometimes many paths....

    oh yes one more information:

it also depends on what you want to study. sometimes london is better, sometimes munich. so it also reeally depends on that.

Thank you for all your answers!!!!! I think I'll apply. But I don't know if I'll do it in London or in Munich. Two very interesting cities.... I will search more information about them (even if I'm ever going to these cities) to know more about them. Thank you again !!!!!

One more thing that I forgot to add: You have to make sure that if you finish a year abroad, that it counts as a school year in your own country too. I mean that the certificate you get there is also valid in your own country. Otherwise you might get trouble later. Just something to keep in mind :)
