Mike sees it as lost time during which he didn't travelling, but when he travelled, he seemed to be travelling very 'intensely'. Before I turn 16 I will have travelled 2.5 years around the world, but, even though I travelled at a younger age it's really different; for me it's 'normal' to see new things. Most places we went to I didn't choose. I 'just went there' with my family, for me, on the first two trips, like on vacations.
