My name is Asia (  in Poland it's a shorter form of Joanna :)) and I'm 19. I live in Gdansk in the north of Poland. I'm very intrested in sport especially in volleyball, which I trained for over 6 years. Nowadays I swim and play basketball and volleyball in school team and I find it  wonderful.

Since I was a child I've spent  all my free time very activelly. With my family I sail and hike in mountains or forests in summer and ski in winter:) I also admire  swimming, windsurfing and other watersports.I think that's  because I am a Pisces;) With friends I cycle a lot. We ride  on  bicycle lanes  or outside the city .

I attend high school's biological and chemical class with lectured English. In future I'd like to study medicine , medical engeeniring or biotechnology.

But the reason why I've found myself in YEP commiunity is that I love travelling, making new friendships and discovering different cultures!!!

When I've first time heard about Young Explorers Program I couldn't believe in that. It's an icreadible chance for US young, fresh and full of positive energy people. We are the generation, which has to repair our ancestors' mistakes and do as much as it's possible to rescue our Earth!!! "So be brave. Take risks. Nothing can substitude experience"!!!!

PS in 2 weeks I'll have the most important exams in  my life!!!!!!!!!! Keeps fingers crossed!!!!!!!;)
