In June 2010 I joined Mike Horn on the Pangaea Expedition to Pakistan., together with Erica (USA), Alex & Daniel (Germany), Kai (Sunny South Africa), Jye (Down Under), Basil (Singapore), Hugo (the frenchie).

From Islamabad we travelled to Skardu and from there we had a 7 hours Jeep drive to Askole. We spent around 3 weeks on the Baltoro Glacier, took measurements, pics, climbed a virgin peak (6170m, now Pangaea Peak), saw K2, The Gasherbrums , Broad Peak, The Trango Towers, had an exciting bus drive on the Karakoram Highway and much more. My name is Tiziana and I'm from Switzerland. I'm 20 years old and I'm studying geography in Zürich. I want to specialize in geomorphology and glaciology. What I really like to do is walking through a city and smiling to other people, just to see their reaction:) It's quite funny, try it! What do I do in my leisure time? Twice a week and sometimes at the weekends I practice Shaolin Lohan Kung Fu. I often go climbing, dancing (salsa), jogging, hiking..fortunately, switzerland is covered with mountains;)...I play the piano since I'm 8 years old. But my absolutely favourite activity is travelling. It's so interesting to meet people from other countries with other cultures and other opinions. In a year or two I'll spend a year in china, because I really want to learn chinese and I'm very interested in the chinese culture.I hope this dream will come true! I'm a very optimistic, spontaneous and happy person, so most of the time I'm laughing:) Hmmm I'm as well extremely curious...:) I think these are good qualities to meet people from all over the world and talk and work with them:) I really like the YEP community, because everybody here is interested in the nature and wants to save it! So let's make the earth a better planet!!!and never forget to smile=)
