Hi everyone, my name is Kerstin. I’m 18 years old. I live in Karlsfeld a small town not far from Munich. I’m in year 13 of a technological and scientifical gymnasium. Bio and Maths are my extensive courses. I love science, especially chemistry and biology. I love sports especially outdoors and I love music. I go swimming, windsurfing, waterskiing, hiking, biking or play badminton. In winter I go skiing, ice skating and tobogganing. I do gymnastics and acrobatics, I go unicycling and I juggle with balls and pins. In the sports club I work as a youth leader and try to show little kids the fun of moving. I’m a member of the DLRG, the German lifeguard association. Therefore I often do guard services at a lake near my house. I play the flute and cello in some groups, I sing in a Gospel choir and enjoy listening to all kind of music. I like to read and I read a lot. I like to go out with my friends or to meet them to talk and laugh. I love the nature and travelling. I like to meet people from other countries, to experience other styles of life and to see the beauty of other parts of the world. The wilderness and nature of Australia and the other countries I visited makes me want to learn about the environment and act for its protection. I also want to show others how beautiful our world is, so that more people become environmentally active. I’m going to Indonesia in October to meet Mike. I’m really excited.
