'If you can dream it, you can do it.' Walt Disney
Hi! I'm Agnieszka. I come from small city called Kartuzy near to Gdańsk in Poland. I'm a cheerful person who loves laughing and having fun. My motto actually is 'peace, love, unity and havin' fun' :-).
I hate boredom, I like doing new things, gain new experience, I'm ready for new adventures and I believe that everything is possible only if a person really wants it. I love dancing and travelling. Since I was a child I've been really keen on it. I would like to see the whole world, especially this part of the world which is not changed by tourists and where people have to fight for survival. When I travel I prefer to stay at someone's house rather than in hotel because it is a better way to see different cultures and customs which I find really exciting. My dream is to take a bag and fly no matter where, meet new people and share my culture with them and visit the most beautiful places in the world.
I have also another dream: I would like do to sth for other people, for instance helping in building houses for people who don't have them and I believe that in the future I will fulfil this dream because recently I've found some organizations which need volunteers in actions like that. :-)
I've already participated in some volunteering actions. I help children, in August 2010 I've been in Germany to help to protect the environment and to repair the hostel for the youth. That was an amazing experience to work with people from all around the world for coomon aim. We renovated the hostel for youth and built some useful things for the animals. I've learnt a lot about the cooperation in the group and we also had some workshops about the environment and peace in the world.
Now I'm studying law in Cracow. After my classes I'm helping children with the homework and I'm learning Japanese.
Which is the first step to fulfill my dreams about the trips to far east.
From this October I will study also the second course - the culture of far east and I will learn Chinese there. Hopefully during the third year of this course I will get a chance to go to China for the exchange!
What is more, after the 6th Selection Camp I became more sporty and brave girl and I fell in love with extreme sports and mountains. That is why, I found a student organization which organizes raids to mountains. I'm in love with these raids, we hiked for 6-9 hours a day and then we are spending the nights in the hostel in the middle of the forest in the mountains. That is an amazing feeling! When we are hiking through the forest I always remind myself the time which I spent during the famous Pangaea Raid. :)
And now I'm going to Serbia with other YEPs to participate in Geberit- Pangaea School Project! I'm soo excited about that and I really hope it will be a great success!!
After some time which I spent here I have to say that YEP is amazing! And I'm so happy that I have this opportunity to talk with all people here and we all do a great job for our environment and for the next generation! :-) If you wanna contact me, you may find me on facebook:
